Leïla Perié is a young group leader in the Quantitative Immuno-Hematology team at CNRS/UPMC/Institut Curie since 2015 and is a co-director of Atelier des Jours à Venir since 2013. She addresses the question on how the diversity of immune cells is produced and maintained during homeostasis and infection. Leïla Périé, combines experimental and computational approaches of single cell analyses. In particular, she uses a lineage tracing method called cellular barcoding that tracks the descendants of individual cells. In addition, her research team aims at developing new lineage tracing methodologies to study hematopoiesis not only in mice but also in humans. Leïla Perié was awarded an ERC grant in 2017.
